Specifically, it adopts (1) the Connecticut River Flood Control Compact among Commonwealth of Massachusetts and states of Connecticut, New Hampshire and Vermont; (2) the Merrimack River Flood Control Compact between the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the state of New Hampshire; (3) the Northeastern Water and Related Land Resources Compact between among the states of Connecticut, Maine, Rhode Island, Vermont and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; and (4) the Water Pollution Control Compact among the states of Maine, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut and New York and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
