Abstract: This Water Management Act 2010, consisting of 152 articles divided into 11 Parts and specific model forms regarding licence issuance for water resources exploitation, lays down rules for the management of water resources. The Law is divided as follows: Powers (Part I); General Management and Control of Water Resources (Part II); Water Supply (Part III); Irrigation and other purposes (Part IV); Water Sewage (Part V); Governmental Water Projects (Part VI); Insurance Savings (Part VII); Water Control and Restraint (Part VIII); Management of Natural Streams (Part IX); Miscellaneous (Part X); Repeals and Transitional Provisions (Part XI). The model forms lay down the necessary information to be done in order to benefit from a water resource exploitation licence or for well drilling/construction.
