Abstract

This Law makes provision with respect to water supply and the carrying out of waterworks by the Jersey New Waterworks Company Limited. The Law defines powers of the Company and requires the Company to supply sufficient wholesome water. The Company shall also have the duty to monitor and ample water supplied by the Company and carry out risk assessments in relation to treatment works from which it intends to supply water for domestic purposes. The Company shall be controlled by the Minister.
