Abstract

These Regulations make provision regarding information to be given by the owner about the occupiers to an water supply undertaker whose service area is wholly or mainly in Wales. This is a requirement of the Water Industry Act 1991 and that Act provides that a failure by the owner to provide the information will result in the owner becoming jointly and severally liable with the occupiers for water and sewerage charges.
