Abstract

This Chapter of the Water Code of California concerns enforcement of provisions regarding water pollution and various related matters such as civil liability, remedial action, charges, inspections, public participation and compliance requirements (regarding also compliance with the Federal Water Pollution Control Act). It also concerns the implementation of the nonpoint source management plan by the State Water Resources Control Board in consultation with regional boards. The Act also provides for adoption for specific wastewater requirements for aquaculture, stormwater, monitoring, inspections and drainage of abandoned mines.
