Abstract

This Part of Division 6 concerns the organization of maintenance of flood works in maintenance areas. A “Maintenance area” means described or delineated lands that are found by the State Reclamation Board or Department of Water Resources to be benefited by the maintenance and operation of a particular unit of a project (defined). Any maintenance area may be divided into zones when it is determined by the investigation that the benefit to the land in the area is not uniform throughout the area.
