Abstract

This Chapter of Division 6 of the Water Code of California aims at providing funds to assist in the construction of a State Water Resources Development System for the State of California. It creates the California Water Resources Development Finance Committee and California Water Resources Development Bond Fund. The Fund shall be used to provide for the acquisition, construction and completion of the State Water Facilities (as defined). All proceeds from the sale of bonds authorized shall be deposited in the Fund. The Act also contains a provision concerning use of water reservoirs for body contact sports.
