Abstract

This Division of the Water Code of California, known as the Bay Area Water Supply and Conservation Agency Act, provides with respect to the creation of the Bay Area Water Supply and Conservation Agency by public entities for the area of San Francisco and provides with respect to administration and other matters regarding the Agency. The Agency may plan, finance, acquire, construct, maintain, and operate facilities for the collection, transmission, treatment, reclamation, reuse, and conservation of water. The Agency may carry out any project or work. Nothing in this Act changes the governance, control, or ownership of the regional water system.
