Abstract

This Part of Division 3 of the Water Code of California requires a copy of the application for approval of plans and specifications for a new dam, or for the enlargement of any dam, in any stream in California to be filed with the Fish and Game Commission as required by the Fish and Game Code. The provisions for the installation of fishways over or around dams and for the protection and preservation of fish in streams obstructed by dams are contained in Chapter 3 (commencing with Section 5900), Part 1, Division 6 of the Fish and Game Code.
