Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Water Resources Act of 21 October 1992. Article 1 of the above-mentioned Ordinance establishes that the State charges appropriate fees for the use of groundwater and water from public surface waters, for operations in underground beds or layers yielding ground water, for the availment of public surface waters and for the abstraction of materials from public waters. The text consists of 25 articles divided into 6 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Fees relating to groundwater and surface water used for potable water, irrigation, as well as for heating and refrigerating plants and water table drawdowns (II); Fees for the use of hydropower (III); Fees for the use public surface waters (IV); Abstraction of materials from public surface waters (V); Transitional and final provisions (VI).
