Abstract

This Order concerns commecement and transitional provisions in relation with the Water Act, which brings about a reform of legislation concerning the water industry and management and conservation of water resources and related environmental matters in the United Kingdom. Transitional provisions concern: a water supply licensees and conformity with guidance issued by the Secretary of State or the Welsh Ministers to the Authority on social and environmental matters under section 2A(1) of the Water Industry Act to the Water Services Regulation Authority.
