Abstract

This Act aims at preventing and reducing volumes of waste generation, and at promoting the reuse, recycle and management of waste in an environmentally sound manner. Waste includes solid, liquid, gaseous, hazardous and non-hazardous, organic or inorganic waste from all kinds of sources and also the materials being stored for recycling and the transportation, import and export of waste.
