Abstract

This Ordinance prohibits the feeding of waste food, or the supply waste food for feeding, to any cattle, sheep, goats and pigs or poultry. "Waste food" means – (a) meat, bones, blood, offal or any other part of the carcase of any animal or bird, or any product derived therefrom, (b) hatchery waste, eggs or eggshells, (c) any broken or waste foodstuffs, including table or kitchen scraps, which contain or have been in contact with anything mentioned in (a) or (b). The Ordinance prescribes penalties for the offence of feeding waste food to livestock.
