The present Regulations enter into force on 1 February 2006.
Abstract

The present Regulations provide for the enactment of the Environmental Management and Protection Act, 2002. In particular, the Regulations lay down provisions relating to the collection and recycling of waste electronic equipment. The text consists of 9 sections as follows: Title (1); Interpretation (2); Prescribed product (3); Product management programme required (4); Approval to operate product management programme (5); Changes to product management programme (6); Suspension or cancellation of approvals (7); Annual reporting (8); Coming into force (9).
