Abstract The present Ordinance lays down provisions relating to waste disposal in the Canton of Zürich. All local authorities, firms and institutions shall comply with the principles of waste disposal, and apply them in particular, in planning and maintaining buildings and technical plants, streets and green land, in the purchase and use of machines, of movables and vehicles, and finally, of material for cleaning and packaging. Article 5 deals with sellers due to accept the return of sold goods having become hazardous waste The following goods shall be taken back: vehicles, motorbikes and bike, as well as bulky objects such as pianos, skis, furniture, carpets, and substances such as paint, solvents, etc. The text consists of 10 articles divided into 2 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Legal duty to retract goods and packaging (II).
