Abstract

These Regulations implement provisions of the Environmental Pollution (Guernsey) Law, 2004 in relation with the duty of care that persons who produce, keep, handle, sort, process, transport or dispose of waste ("relevant persons") must comply with. The Regulations set out measures and procedures that a relevant person must implement, adopt and follow, in relation with the transfer of waste. The Regulations also concern transfers of specially controlled waste and provide for record-keeping requirements.
