A warehouse receipt may be issued in any format but some minimal information must be provided, these include: a statement of the location of the warehouse; the date of issue of the receipt; the unique identification code; a statement whether the goods received will be delivered; the rate of storage and handling charges; a description of the goods or the packages containing them; etc. Part III concerns duties and obligations of warehouse operator.
