Abstract

The aim of the present Act is to protect man and the environment from harmful effects resulting from the use of plant protection products in agriculture or other places. At the outset the Act contains a definition clause containing various terms therein employed, such as, “plant protection products”, “tools”, “integrated plant protection”, “environment”. The text consists of 12 articles divided into 6 Parts as follows: General principles (I); Use of plant protection products (II); Duty of notification (III); Monitoring (IV); Penalties (V); Entry into force (VI).
