Abstract A basic Act regulating hunting activities in Vienna and its surrounding area. Article 1 establishes that hunting is an essential part of the Austrian economy and tradition and is based on the hunting law whereby hunting is allowed in special hunting grounds where animals can be hunt, caught, killed and appropriated by hunters.
