Abstract This Act, consisting of 79 sections divided into seven Parts and completed by one Schedule, provides for the continuation of the Veterinary Surgeons Board as the Veterinary Surgeons Board of South Australia, and defines its composition. The Board’s functions shall aim at protecting animal health, safety and welfare and the public interest by achieving and maintaining high professional standards in the provision of veterinary treatment.
