Abstract

These Regulations are framed by the Veterinary Council of India (Council) in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 66 of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (Act). The Regulation provides for the process of registration of practitioners in the Indian Veterinary practitioners register as per Section 24 of the Act. It also makes provisions for registration of additional qualifications with the Council, alteration of names in the Register and notification about change of place of residence. The certificate of registration in the Indian Veterinary practitioners register shall be given in Form C. Regulation 9 lays down the process for renewal and revision of the register every five years. Regulation 11 provides for appeal by any person aggrieved with an order under section 49 of the Act regarding removal from the register.
