Beef and mutton must not come from countries struck by cattle and sheep BSE in accordance with the requirements of "International Veterinary Code". Meat and meat products are admitted to the territory of the Russian Federation on condition that they derive from cattle that have not been fed by feedstuffs containing either additives composed of internal organs and tissues of ruminants or produced with the use of genetically modified additives or other genetically modified sources.
