Abstract

Egg powder, melange, albumen and other food derivatives of the hen's egg are admitted to the territory of the Russian Federation on condition that they derive from healthy poultry originating from disease-free farms and produced by enterprises authorized by the central state veterinary institution of the exporting country that exercise permanent supervision over their activity. Eggs used for processing must not derive from poultry fed by forage with the use of genetically modified additives or other genetically modified sources. Egg derivatives or products containing eggs must be processed in order to guarantee the absence of viable pathogenic flora. Foodstuff deriving from egg must be authorized by the competent state institution of the country of origin for public feeding and free trade without any restriction.
