Abstract

Healthy aquatic products (fish, fecundated spawn, crawfish, frogs, molluscs, invertebrate) are admitted to the territory of the Russian Federation on condition that they come from infectious animal disease free farms and administrative territories. Aquatic products selected for export are admitted to the territory of the Russian Federation on condition that they have not been fed by feedstuffs with the use of genetically modified additives or other genetically modified sources. The total number of aquatic products from which are selected lots destined for export must pass parasitological, bacteriological and virological tests at the state laboratory in accordance with the methodology adopted in the exporting country for the purpose of elimination of aquatic products' pathogens. Forage organisms (mosquito grub, artemia ovum etc.) must not contain toxicological and pathogenic microorganisms. Import of eel grown in freshwater reservoirs. Package and packing material must be disposable. The compliance with these Veterinary and sanitary requirements must be certified by veterinary certificate, signed by the state veterinary inspector of the exporting country and composed in the language of the country of origin and in Russian.
