Chapter 1 deals with terms and definitions. Article 2 lists objectives of the Veterinarian Union which are: (a) to contribute in the development of the agricultural sector; (b) to support the veterinary health sector and reinforce veterinary services; (c) to participate in the environment protection and in animal welfare; (d) to revitalize the Arab veterinary tradition; (e) to develop animal resources to realize the food security; (f) to support scientific research related to the veterinary field, and translate studies and books concerning the veterinary sector; (g) to organize education courses and training for veterinarians; and, (h) to hold meetings and conferences in the veterinary field. Chapter 2 provides for the registration and admission in the Veterinary Union, loss of the membership, and restitution of the membership. Chapter 3 refers to the practice of the veterinary profession. Chapter 4 illustrates the organization of the Union and its apparatuses. Chapters 5-7 deal with branches of the Union, branch’s apparatuses, and branches council. Election in the Union (chap. 8). Dissolution of the General Conference, Councils and Boards (chap. 9). Union incomes (chap. 10). Discipline (chap. 11). General provisions (chap. 12).
