The present Act enters into force on 26 February 1979.
Abstract

The purpose of the present Act is to ensure the grading and sale of vegetable, fruit and honey. It deals with, among others, issues such as appointment of inspectors, powers of inspectors, detention of vegetables at owner’s risk, obstruction of inspectors, offences and penalties inspection certificate prima facie evidence, etc. The Act consists of 11 sections.
