In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to the grading of veal. Section 1 establishes that there shall be 10 grades for veal. Furthermore, an inspector shall grade and mark veal in accordance with the standards set out in sections 6 to 8 of the Veal Carcass Grading Regulation (SOR/84-434).
