Abstract

This Act concerns the control on export and import of prescribed commodities. For this purpose, it establishes a Board to be known as the Vanuatu Commodities Marketing Board as a body corporate. The functions of the Board shall be the principally to secure the most favourable arrangements for the purchase, sale, grading and export or import of prescribed commodities, i.e. commodity declared a prescribed commodity by the Minister.
