Abstract

The purpose of this Act is to direct the Secretary of the Interior to establish a United States-Mexico transboundary aquifer assessment program to systematically assess priority transboundary aquifers. Priority transboundary aquifers are defined by criteria that include proximity to areas of high population density, extent of use, susceptibility to contamination and other relevant criteria.
