Abstract

The purpose of the present Ordinance is to enforce the Council Directive 91/271/EEC concerning urban waste water treatment of 21 May 1991. In particular the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to treatment of urban waste water. The text consists of 10 articles as follows: Purpose of the Ordinance (1); Definition of terms (2); Canalisation (3); Municipal discharge (4); Industrial discharge into waters (5); Sewage sludge (6); Reports and programmes (7); Further requirements (8).
