The Act also establishes the Urban Enterprise Fund and provides for the appointment of the Director of Urban Development. This Act applies only to land in urban areas that is designated by the Minister under this Act or is vested in the Commission. The Commission shall be instrumental in the development of urban areas and for this purpose may (compulsory) acquire and dispose of land. The Commission shall prepare and submit to the Minister an urban renewal plan. Full text English
