Abstract

These Regulations prohibit the fishing for certain species of crab and lobster more than the number permitted each day for each boat. They also prohibit the use of certain fishing methods. The prohibitions shall not apply to: (a) a boat fishing outside Northern Ireland inshore waters; (b) a licensed fishing vessel; (c) a person operating under the authority and in accordance with a permit granted under section 14 of the Fisheries Act (Northern Ireland) 1966.
