They also prohibit the use of certain fishing methods. The prohibitions shall not apply to: (a) a boat fishing outside Northern Ireland inshore waters; (b) a licensed fishing vessel; (c) a person operating under the authority and in accordance with a permit granted under section 14 of the Fisheries Act (Northern Ireland) 1966.
