The Act also confers power on the Minister to transfer assets and property of the Coordinating Office for the Control of Trypanosomiasis to the Council. The Council shall implement a programme adopted by the working party of representatives of the Government of Uganda and of the donor community for tsetse and trypanosomiasis research and control.
