The object of the Corporation is to promote and facilitate the industrial and economic development of Uganda. The Corporation shall, among other things, facilitate Government investment in strategic sectors of the economy, promote, facilitate and implement public private partnerships and to take over the interest of Government in the entities specified in Schedule 2 and administer those entities.
