The Fund achieves this objective through the provision of access to capital and financing facilities, attracting investments in micro and small enterprises, supporting micro and small enterprises to develop linkages with large enterprises, and facilitating the marketing of products and services of micro and small enterprises owned by the residents of Uasin Gishu County in both domestic and international markets. The Act establishes a Committee which shall, among other functions, manage, control and administer the Fund, and additionally, appoint the Fund Manager. The Act provides extensively for the procedure for application for and disbursement of funds/loans to small enterprises. Full text English
