Objectives of the present Law are: a) to make available electricity of high quality and low cost to economy and the people of Tyrol; b) to create a market organization for electricity complying with the EU regulations and principles for Tyrol; c) to increase the high part of renewable energy in Austrian electricity production; d) to create compensation for obligations of general interest concerning availability, security, regularity, quality, price and environmental protection; e) protection of people and environment from harmful effects generated by power plants; f) efficient use of produced energy.
