The Law regulates: a) the duty of municipalities to establish, run and maintain adequate urban waste water facilities; and b) the duty of industries to connect to these public waste water treatment facilities. The text consists of 18 articles divided into 5 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Duty by municipalities to establish an adequate canal system (2); Connection to the public canalization (3); Expropriation (4); Competent authorities, penalties and transitional provisions (5).
