Abstract This Notification sets forth the rules and procedures of and determine the standards for, hygienic and technically appropriate production, processing, conservation, transport, storage and marketing of honey. The Notification covers honey produced by the honey bee (Apis mellifera). The Notification further sets forth the product features of honey and covers provisions related to food additives, pesticide residues, veterinary drug residues.
