The Notification enters into force on the day it is published in the Official Journal.
Abstract

The aim of this Notification is to ensure healthy nutrition of people who cannot tolerate gluten. This Notification sets forth the rules and procedures of and determine the standards for, hygienic and technically appropriate production, processing, conservation, transport, storage and marketing of specially produced food for the nutrition of people intolerant to gluten. It also covers provisions on the rules and procedures of packaging, labelling, marking, sampling and analysis. The notification is drafted in accordance with the European Commission Regulation (EC) No 41/2009 concerning the composition and labeling of foodstuffs suitable for people intolerant to gluten.
