Abstract The present Regulations are made under the Agri-Food Act, 2004. Section 3 establishes that the Saskatchewan Turkey Marketing Plan is continued. The purposes of the plan are, inter alia, to: a) control and regulate the production and marketing of turkey and turkey products in Saskatchewan; b) maintain a fair and stable price for turkey and turkey products in Saskatchewan that relates to the cost of production; c) initiate, support and conduct studies and research connected with the production, marketing or production and marketing of turkey and turkey products, including studies and research respecting consumer demand for Saskatchewan-grown turkey and turkey products; d) initiate, support and conduct activities to promote the production, marketing or production and marketing of turkey and turkey products in Saskatchewan.
