Other purposes include the coordination of the activities of institutional stakeholders in water services provision in the County; the promotion of public participation in the water services regulation in the County; the management of public private partnerships for water services in the County, the coordination of waterworks development, among others. the Act essentially provides that everyone in the County has the right to water and sanitation, the rights to use and benefit from attendant services; this includes the use of water by livestock. The Act further provides that special measures should be made to ensure the provision of water and sanitation services to vulnerable groups. The Act extensively provides for the composition, administration and management of water and sanitation services. Full text English
