Abstract

This Order makes substantial amendments to the Tuberculosis (Scotland) Order 2007 and a minor amendment to the Tuberculosis in Specified Animals (Scotland) Order 2015. The Tuberculosis (Scotland) Order 2007 is amended in provisions concerning, among other things, the definition of ‘high incidence area’, testing in case of movement of an animal to a high incidence area, generally testing for tuberculosis, the maximum compensation payable for any slaughtered animals, serving of a test notice requiring the keeper to apply a diagnostic test for tuberculosis on the bovine animal, and enforcement measures if a test notice is disregarded.
