Abstract

This Order, made under the Animal Health Act 1981, confers powers on the Secretary of State in relation to tuberculosis in England. It, among other things, makes provision for precautions against spread of infection of bovine animals. It also makes provision with respect to the notification of disease, slaughter of bovine animals and compensation.
