Abstract

This Act lays down provisions on the establishment, constitution, decisions, funds, duties and powers of the Electricity Commission; powers of the Commission to vest certain property, rights and liabilities in an approved generator of electricity; conditions of supply of electricity by the Commission; areas, systems and mode of supply; tariff of prices for electricity; licences required for use of installation; terms, conditions and contents of licences; and offences and penalties.
