Abstract

The present Regulation enacts section 8 of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to the fight against trellis rust in pear trees. Any inspector may inspect any grower’s crop at any time, and if the presence of trellis rust is discovered in a crop, he shall promptly notify the plant pathologist. The text contains provisions on destructions of diseased plants or portions, cost of removal against grower, penalty and offence. The text consists of 7 sections divided into 3 Parts.
