Abstract

This By-law of the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality concerns trade effluent concerns treated effluent installations and use of treated effluent, i.e. wastewater which has been treated. the By-law, among otehr things, specifies unauthorised use of treated effluent and peovides with respect to treated effleunt used for irrigation purposes. Premises that require feeds from both the treated effluent and potable supply schemes must comply with the following minimum standard.
