The present Act enters into force on 1 August 1991.
Abstract

The present Act lays down provisions relating to the transportation of hazardous goods. The text – consisting of 66 sections – deals with the following aspects: application, permits, dangerous goods, inspection, powers of inspector, seizure, appeal, recovery of costs and expenses, administration and offences and punishment.
