Schedule 6 appoints the Food Standards Agency as the competent authority. The Agency shall, in relation to this Schedule, carry out the duties on the member State in point 11.1 and point 11.2 of Annex V to Regulation (EC) No 999/2001 as amended by Commission Regulation (EC) No. 722/2007 and shall grant authorizations for the purposes of point 4.3(a) of that Annex.
