Abstract

The present Ordinance enforces the Directive 2009/28/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the promotion of the use of energy from renewable sources. Article 1 establishes that the Register Administration runs the Traceability Register as an electronic database in which the issue of inland certificates, recognition of foreign certificates as wells as the transfer and cancellation of inland and foreign certificates shall be registered. The text consist of 35 articles divided into 7 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Issuing of certificates of origin and registration of power plants (2); Transfer and cancellation of certificates of origin (3); Recognition of foreign certificates (4); Obligations of register participants (5); Data protection (6); Other provisions (7).
