Those sections were inserted into the that Act by the Growth and Infrastructure Act, 2013. Section 62A provides for the designation of local planning authorities in accordance with criteria set by the Secretary of State. A new definition of " major developments" for purposes of these Regulations also includes waste development and minerals development.
